Independent Consumer Test - Laura Thomas
Product: IQAir Allergen 100
Product: IQAir Allergen 100
Laura is a lady whose professional career in training and education has often been interupted through her suffering from asthma, bronchitis and hay fever for many years. Her symptoms have included itching eyes, nose and throat, coughing, breathing difficulties and a runny and stuffy nose. She has had to take prescribed medication and a nebuliser, which was very stressful at times for her, family and friends.
Knowing that pollution can damage health we installed an IQ Air Allergen 100 unit and within weeks there was a noticeable difference to her lifestyle. She is able to breathe easier and says that being able to sleep and breathe easier has helped to change her life. She now regularly walks and goes to the gym, although she does carry her 'puffer' when in public areas.
The machine is efficient, easy to handle if needed in different parts of the home, and durable. She is confident that she'll get through a stress-free winter.

Before installation, our suite of offices was permanently smokey, penetrating even into the corridor. Physical affects included sore eyes by the end of every working day and as a slightly asthmatic person I found it affected my breathing. Clothing and belongings were badly affected as well.
Since installation the air quality has noticeably improved, my eyes are not suffering and I am less asthmatic. The unit is very easy to operate and maintain. I would recommend it to anyone who has to work in a smoking environment or indeed asmathic/allergy sufferers in their own home.

Whitefriars - Bringing a smile to the cleaners face
Product: IQAir HealthPro 250
Product: IQAir HealthPro 250
Recent trials carried out in a busy office with an IQAir® air purifier brought a smile to the face of more than just the two office occupants. The cleaner was also delighted with the result.
After just one week, the cleaner found that dust layers across the 40-m2 area had reduced to virtually nil thereby cutting down the duster-wielding time considerably - this indicating, of course, that the ambient air was also pollutant free.
The office is that of Jo Harvey, Facilities Manager of the Whitefriars office building just off Bristol City centre. Her office is located on the ground floor adjacent to the main entrance of the building and is equipped with the normal computer and photocopier equipment. Foot traffic is frequent bringing incoming air from both street and visitor.
Despite efficient air conditioning, Jo and her PA, Lynne Swift, experienced frequent headaches and stuffy noses, particularly when the weather was heavy and doors left open.
An IQAir "HealthPro 250" unit was brought in, plugged into a 13-amp socket and, within days, the benefits were apparent. Particulate readings of the office air taken over a 2-hour period midway through the trial when the unit was switched off and then re-started are available upon request.
The "HealthPro 250" comes from the same family and shares the same technology as the "H13 Cleanroom" unit, recently and independently tested by the Health Protection Agency at Porton Down. When challenged with four different micro-organisms, results showed percentage efficiencies in excess of 99.52%.
These Clinical Standard units are the only portable air filtration systems that have been type-tested in accordance with the world's most stringent HEPA filter test norm (EN1822) and are capable of reducing airborne particles and contaminates to an extremely high efficiency.
In addition to odour and airborne allergen control, people sensitive to tobacco smoke and chemical compounds would find immediate benefit - asthma and hay fever sufferers in particular appreciating the improvement in air quality.
